This WP site has served as our home since SAPO was established, but it is now an archival site for the early days. 🙂 Please bookmark our permanent domain for all future information about SAPO’s activities:

The site has comment forms, etc to make it easier for folks to contact us.
It’s official; SAPO’s spring picnic is scheduled for Saturday, April 6. Please go to our main site for updates!
We are looking at two potential SAPO picnic dates for 2013, on April 6 and April 27. It will not only be a social gathering, but focused on providing support and guidance for the official PCOD (2 May). If you have any input, please post it here.
Our spring SAPO picnic, targeted for March/April (date to be announced when I book the park) supports Intn’l Pagan Coming Out Day (May 2). We’d like it to not only be a social gathering, but to provide an opportunity for those who are looking for guidance on how to “come out of the broom closet” to meet locals who are already out, to share their experiences and some “how-to” on the journey. We would also like to welcome Pagans new to the San Antonio area to our fair city!
Organizations/groups, this would be a great opportunity to bring new members out to meet the natives. For individuals, here’s the chance to share your experience with folks new to Pagan culture and/or figuring out how to make that shift from private to public.
Our PCOD SAPO page (linked below) has a Comment form, which we’d love folks to use and let us know what your needs are as someone new to the S.A. area, and/or support you’d like to find as a transitioning Pagan.

There is a new SAPO web site, which will eventually be joined with a permanent domain name. Here’s the link: http://sanantoniopaganoutreach.weebly.com/index.html
This WP site will remain as a backup site.
Well, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for a picnic! Perfect temp, nice and breezy. I estimate around 30-35 people dropped in throughout the event. We had more folks inquire about kid-friendly activities, so we’ll do what we can for the next one.
Labels will be provided by SAPO for general name tags and the “Ask Me About.”
Forecast for the picnic: 83° with sunny/partly cloudy skies. Yeppers! Please remember that the event is 4 hours long, so if you bring perishables like potato salad, you are responsible for its safe monitoring/storage/disposal. Thanks!
If you would like to bring literature for your local Pagan group/org (no business ads, please), there will be a table set up. Also, please remember that the Swap Table items need to be “ready to use;” this is not a white elephant table. Thanks!
Weather looks great so far for tomorrow’s picnic! If your group/org would like to bring literature to share information about what they’re about, please do! This event is also an opportunity for Pagans new to San Antonio (or working their way out of the broom closet) to meet the locals.
Check out the Community Social page for details on the October 6 picnic. Hope to see you there!
